The training programme emphasized on providing the participants with the latest market overview, products and services, basic tyre technical knowledge along with design processes and most importantly the technology behind the new tyres and how to effectively communicate these benefits to the customers.

The participants not only had classroom training but also a field trip to one of CST's fleet customers for a practical view on the usage of Fleet Check Tool. The participants also went to Volvo Malaysia, as OE customer where they learnt the different mechanical parts of a commercial vehicle as well as to identify the parts that could contribute to different wear patterns on a tyre and the proper maintenance of the vehicle for maximum tyre wear performance.

Tests were given at the end of each training block to evaluate the participants. Two participants with the highest scores were Arief Bintoro from Indonesia and Surawit Aumamphai from Thailand.
