With this calculation model we are focusing on individual customer tire support without entailing high expense. The model answers the question of whether it is really worthwhile to drive retreaded tires, whether regrooving should be considered or whether to simply order new tires for the truck fleet. It enables the fleet manager to base his decision on a neutral comparison – even though this may result in a rival make – retread or new – turning out to be the better choice.
