In the cab there are a number of consuming units which have to be supplied with energy. For this purpose Continental offers highly integrated central electronics with an integrated electric center. Simultaneously, this solution provides an electrical interface for all conventional consumers in the cab as well as a hub for the exchange of information between cab and chassis.
Installation in the firewall of the cab saves considerable space and offers additional gateway functions at no large extra cost and effort.
The possibility for flexible extension to include further relays and fuses completes this highly integrated concept.
