The spinning of tires, the roar of engines and much more: this is the international design competition Formula Student. On race tracks around the world, 387 student teams from 36 countries (correct as of February 2008) meet to compete in the international competition with their self-made, one-seater race cars.

International future engineers met at the Hockenheimring from August 5th to August 9th to find out the best teams at the Formula Student Germany event, which was organized by the VDI.
